Commissioning a piece of furniture is very straightforward, and
I aim to make the process as enjoyable as possible. I usually
begin with an informal consultation at your home, or the place in which the intended piece of furniture will live. We discuss
your requirements in detail - the purpose of the piece, dimensions, surroundings, personal taste etc, and any ideas you may have by
way of design preferences, choice of wood and finish to be used, as well as budget parameters and a timescale for work.
Back
at the workshop, I work on design ideas, with costings and timeframes for each, and return to you with drawings and wood samples
for your feedback and comments. Once the design and materials have been agreed, I take a deposit, typically 50%, with the balance
payable on delivery.

the work in progress and share in the pleasure
of seeing your piece evolve.
